Sport and Wellness offer three brand-new, pristine Cricket Batting Cages which are used by batsmen and bowlers to practice their cricketing techniques. Theses fully floodlight cages consist of an artificial cricket pitch enclosed by netting on either side, behind, and above.
Capacity: 12+ Participants per cage (dependent on COVID/MOPH restrictions)
Advance Booking Schedule: Can be booked 7 days in advance.
Type of Play: Caters for both hardball and MRI.
Cost: 80 QAR per cage per 60-minute booking.
Special Considerations for this facility: Adequate footwear required- strictly no cricket studs allowed. Bookers and guests are required to bring required equipment. Only mobile cricket stumps will be provided.

When UDST students, faculty, staff and immediate family of faculty/staff are looking to make a booking for the Cricket Batting Cages during S&W operating hours, it is a requirement to add all joining guests to the booking. If your guest(s) only consist of UDST Students, Faculty and/or Staff- there is no charge and the booking of this facility is completely FREE.
If your guestlist includes outside participants a moderate Guest Pass fee is charged (rate is dependent on whether they are UDST Alumni @20 QAR or members of the Public @30 QAR). Bookings for this facility that fall outside of S&W operating hours are treated as extended hours and rentals are charged at 80 QAR per cage per 60-minute booking.
