Welcome Message

Dear Esteemed Partners and Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure and appreciation that we welcome you to the 4th Symposium on Diabetes Care: World Diabetes Day 2025, held under the theme:
“Transforming Diabetes Care for Well-Being: Innovations in Education, Research, and Person-Centered Practice.”

Organized in collaboration with the Qatar Metabolic Institute (QMI), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), this annual symposium continues to strengthen the collective commitment to advancing diabetes prevention, education, and holistic patient empowerment. In alignment with the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) 2024–2026 theme, “Diabetes and Well-Being,” the event serves as an influential platform for multidisciplinary dialogue, applied research dissemination, and the translation of evidence into sustainable practice to enhance the well-being of individuals and communities living with diabetes.

The planning of this academic and professional development endeavor is directly in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Qatar National Action Plan on Obesity, Diabetes, and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (2024–2030). The symposium will feature distinguished national and international speakers, panelists and exhibitors. Together, we are shaping a future where innovation, collaboration, and person-centered care merge to transform diabetes management and improve quality of life.

We extend our gratitude for your valued participation and engagement.

Kind regards,
The 4th Diabetes Care Symposium Organizing Committee
