Recruitment Fraud Notice
It has come to our attention that there are some bodies, persons, and websites involved in fraudulent job postings and offers to purport to be from or associated with the University of Doha for Science and Technology (“UDST”), which include misusing candidates’ personal information and offering non-existent jobs at UDST, either free of charge or in return for payment.
UDST does not send unsolicited emails with offers of employment, nor requires any payment of fees for the processing of job applications or employment visas. All employment opportunities are advertised on the UDST website and recruitment is done directly and via authorized third-party recruitment agencies or the University itself.
UDST’s recruitment team uses only authorized email addresses, originating only from the “udst.edu.qa” domain. We do not permit employees to send or receive work-related emails from personal accounts or any other address.
UDST does not charge any application, processing, training, interviewing, testing or other fee in connection with the application or recruitment process. Please also note that emblems, logos, names, and addresses are easily copied and reproduced. Therefore, you are advised to apply particular care when submitting personal information on the web.
If you receive what seems to be an unusual money request from the person(s) representing to be members of UDST, or have concerns as to the authenticity of UDST’s actual involvement in a particular transaction, solicitation, notification, directive, or request, do NOT respond to the request and do NOT send any money or provide any of your personal bank account details.
Please be advised that any potential job-seeker willingly corresponding with such individuals and recruitment agencies in any manner whether by e-mail or otherwise will be doing so at their own risk and with consequences.
