This prestigious initiative nurtures future faculty and researchers through two tracks: Local Track (study within Qatar-open to both residents and citizens of Qatar) and International Track (study abroad for Qatari nationals and applicants with Qatari mothers).

Who Can Apply

  • Under 40 years old at the submission deadline.
  • Employed in Qatar.
  • Accepted into or applying for full-time graduate programs starting the next academic year.

Funding and Benefits

GSRA offers comprehensive support:

  • Master’s degree: Up to 2 years; Ph.D.: Up to 4 years.
  • Tuition fees: Fully covered.
  • Conference allowance: Up to QAR 18,000/year.
  • Health insurance and settlement allowance for international awardees.
  • Annual air ticket for international awardees.
