Reading and Writing Critically

This workshop supports Master’s students in developing the analytical depth and intellectual independence required at graduate level. It moves beyond summary to focus on interrogating arguments, evaluating evidence, identifying assumptions, and engaging with academic debates. Students will learn how to construct strong thesis statements, integrate sources critically, and position their voice within scholarly conversations. By strengthening both reading and writing skills, the workshop provides practical strategies to help students produce clear, evidence-based, and critically engaged academic work.
