FAQ

Visit Peoplesoft and click on "View grades."

Repeat failed courses as soon as possible. Also explore repeating courses with D and D+ grades and take easier elective courses to boost your GPA.

Your GPA should be 2.0 or higher to get out of probation.

You can submit a transfer request through the PeopleSoft Self-Service Portal > E-Services. Transfer applications are open twice a year, for 10 days at the end of the spring and fall semesters.

Elective courses offer a valuable opportunity to explore your interests, develop new skills, and broaden your perspective.

Email your Head of the Department or your Assistant Dean for Student Affairs for your college.

Visit Peoplesoft, select "Manage Classes," click on "Plan and Enroll," select your courses, and click on "Save Planning and Enroll." Remember that Fall and Winter terms are limited to 18 credits and Spring is limited to 9 credits.

Obtain an SAT score of >600 or an ACT score of >21 to skip AMP1. Write AMP2 and achieve a score of 75%+ to skip Math 1020 and 85% or higher to start the Math 1030 directly.

Visit Navigate 360, click on "Appointments," and select "My Team" to view your advisors. You can access Navigate360 at https://udst.campus.eab.com/home or you can download the “Navigate Student” app on your phone.

Ensure you do not exceed 18 credits in the Fall and Winter semesters and 9 credits in the Spring semester. If issues arise despite staying within these credit limits, report the problem to the IT Service Desk.

Prerequisite courses must be taken before a selected course, and corequisite courses should be taken together in the same semester. Prerequisite and co-requisite courses are listed in the program plans in the UDST Academic Catalog.

It is recommended to repeat courses with F, D and D+ grades. Repeating a course with a low grade and improving the grade increases a cumulative GPA much more quickly than taking new courses. Email the Head of the Department for assistance with D and/or D+ repeats. Visit the SCS Academic Advising booth (in building 3, next to Oakberry) if you would like to explore GPA calculations/projections.
