Seed Funds are internal grants that help researchers develop novel ideas that will go on to form part of larger externally funded grant applications like NPRP, UREP, or QRDI projects.
The data collected from the seed projects will give investigators a better idea of feasibility and directionality of research before applying external funds from other sources.
Seed funds are managed by the Applied Research, Innovation and Economic Development Directorate.
