Before the Ceremony

Gown pick-up will be available as follows:

• Location:  Building 1 - Theater 3
• Dates:  Tuesday, June 06, 2023, to Thursday, June 08, 2023
• Time:  Between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm
• Only Graduates are eligible to pick up gowns.
• Please bring your Student ID for pick-up.

All students must wear full academic regalia (cap and gown) to cross the stage and receive their parchment.

Male students are allowed to wear the Qatari Traditional Ghutra and Egal and the graduation gown.

You will be required to sign an Undertaking form pertaining to the graduation gown upon collecting the gown.

Please note that you will be required to pay a Deposit for the gown which will be refunded upon returning the gown. You will also have the option to retain the graduation gown after paying the Deposit.

The Deposit will not be refunded if the gown is damaged or modified while in your custody.

The available gown sizes are as follows:

Small (Chest 120 cm)

Medium (Chest 130 cm)

Large (Chest 135 cm)

X-Large (Chest 140 cm)

You will be able to pre-book your preferred gown size when you register online for the Ceremony.  Please note that gown sizes are subject to availability.

Measuring Guides

Your chest size determines the body size of the graduation gown.  We will allocate an appropriate gown based on these measurements.

You will need a tape measure

Measure from under the arms

Hold the tape measure firmly but not too tight

Measure all the way around from the fullest part of your bust/chest

Record your bust/chest in centimeters

Note:  The graduation cap is one size so it will be suitable for all.

Each student will receive TWO invitations for their guests.

Each guest will be required to have an invitation for entry to the Graduation.

Only Graduates are eligible to pick up invitations.

Only children over 12 will be permitted to enter the Ceremony, and they must have an invitation.

No childcare is provided by UDST.

Invitation pick-up will be available as follows:

Dates:  Sunday, June 11, 2023, to Tuesday, June 13, 2023

Time:  Between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm

Only Graduates are eligible to pick up their invitations.

Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC)

Student Registration begins:  3:30 pm

Rehearsal starts:  4:30 pm

Rehearsal attendance is mandatory in order to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.

You do not need your cap and gown for rehearsals.

Please bring your student ID with you.
