College of Engineering Technology FAQ's

Most programs require a high college diploma with passing grades in at least 5 courses. One must be a Grade 12 English course, one Academic or Advanced Mathematics course, and two Science courses. A fifth course can be from a variety of language, arts, or other electives. A minimum average of 60% over all five courses is required to be admitted. All these credits must be obtained from a college that is approved by the State of Qatar.

There are three semesters available at UDST: the first semester begins in September (Fall); the second begins in January (Winter); and the third begins in May (Spring).
